Job description

We are currently seeking skilled and experienced Maintenance Technicians for a community in the Gaithersburg, MD area.

The schedule will be 8:00am - 4:00pm, Monday - Friday. Starting ASAP!

The maintenance staff will be responsible for completing tickets, turning vacant units, appliance installation, and other required tasks within a very active team. Technicians must have their own hand tools and drill. Punctuality is important, and the manager is looking for technicians who are skilled and ready to start immediately.

Responsibilities:

• Strong experience in the following tasks:
• Plumbing: sink/shower/toilet repair, replacing fixtures, unclogging drains (snaking when applicable)
• Electrical: replacing fixtures and switches, knowledge of proper safety protocols, rewiring when applicable
• Carpentry: patching holes, replacing doors/locks, hanging cabinetry, light touch-up painting
• Appliances: assistance with installation of W&D, stoves (when applicable), installing garbage disposals, small repairs

Technicians should be courteous and provide realistic expectations for completed jobs.

Report missing or needed parts to Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager as instructed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in residential maintenance — apartments, hotels, or private homes.
• Must have personal hand tools and drill — bring to the site daily; do not leave at the property.
• Must have reliable transportation and a team mentality.
• Ability to handle physical workload.
