Service Technician – River’s Gate/Carrollwood (Middle River, MD)

WPM Real Estate Management is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team at River’s Gate/Carrollwood in Middle River, MD. This role is essential to maintaining the community’s quality and ensuring resident satisfaction.

Position Overview

As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for completing maintenance work orders, performing preventative maintenance, and preparing apartments for new residents. The ideal candidate is a team player with strong problem-solving skills and excellent customer service. Prior experience in residential maintenance is preferred.

Compensation: Starting at $20 per hour (commensurate with experience), plus opportunities for bonuses and allowances.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, with participation in an on-call rotation

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and perform HVAC maintenance
• Repair and maintain electrical systems
• Hang, prep, and sand drywall
• Repair and maintain appliances
• Handle plumbing repairs
• Paint apartments and common areas
• Maintain property cleanliness, order, and safety
• Assist with snow removal
• Participate in the rotating on-call schedule for after-hours emergencies
  
  

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience in plumbing, electrical, or carpentry
• Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical and mechanical issues
• Ability to work on ladders and lift up to 85 lbs
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
• Must be available for on-call emergencies, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  
  

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years of maintenance experience preferred
