Job Description

The apartment industry is booming, and the possibilities are endless! Smart Apartment Solutions is seeking a maintenance technician responsible for performing general building maintenance and apartment repairs according to work orders or the property manager's instructions. We offer temporary, temporary to permanent, and direct hire positions.

Responsibilities:

• Complete and troubleshoot common apartment service requests
• Fix minor plumbing and electrical issues
• Install and repair appliances
• Repair general punch items
• Clean and prepare apartments for inspection and new move-ins
• Exterior/interior painting, caulking, and light drywall repair
• Pressure washing, leaf blowing of breezeways and parking lots

Requirements:

• At least 6 months of light electrical experience
• At least 6 months of basic plumbing experience
• Ability to install appliances
• Strong work ethic, reliability, dependability, and initiative
• Enjoy working with others and providing friendly customer service
• Own basic hand tools (screwdriver, pliers, wrenches)
• Ability to lift 40-50 pounds
