Fath Properties is seeking Apartment Maintenance staff for Summit at Midtown in North Central Dallas. The role is multi-skilled, covering plumbing, electrical, and carpentry, with HVAC licensing required.

Responsibilities include servicing occupied units and making ready apartments while maintaining safety and quality on site. We offer a $1,000 signing bonus, comprehensive health, disability and life insurance, 401k with company match, paid holidays and generous PTO, dental and vision benefits,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school.
• HVAC license with at least 1 year experience.
• Plumbing and electrical experience.
• Minimum 2 years of residential maintenance experience.
• Leadership skills are a plus.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Physical: able to lift 75 lbs, climb ladders, operate power tools and door locks.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a wide range of maintenance problems (plumbing, electrical, carpentry).
• Maintain and repair occupied and make-ready residential units.
• Purchase and order supplies; keep the maintenance shop orderly.
• Support Summit at Midtown and other properties as needed.

Apartment Maintenance must be multi-skilled. This position is responsible for the following:

• Ability to diagnose and repair a wide variety of basic maintenance problems at the property including plumbing, electrical and carpentry.
• Maintenance will include occupied residential units and/or performing necessary repairs in make ready residential units.
• HVAC license is required
• Purchasing and ordering supplies while maintaining a neat and orderly maintenance shop at the apartment community.

Requirements

• Physical requirements: Able to lift 75 lbs. Able to climb ladders and steps. Applicants must be able to operate power equipment such as saws, drills. Must be able to operate door locks.
