Job summary

Fath Properties in Dallas, TX seeks two Maintenance-HVAC Technicians to operate as floaters at North Central Dallas properties. You will diagnose and repair a variety of basic maintenance issues, including plumbing, electrical and carpentry, within occupied units and make-ready spaces.

The role requires an HVAC license with 2+ years of residential maintenance experience. You will purchase supplies, keep a tidy shop, and support on-call maintenance needs across multiple properties.

Qualifications

• HVAC license required with 2+ years' experience.
• Experience with plumbing and electrical work.
• Residential maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a wide range of maintenance issues across properties.
• Perform maintenance in occupied units and make-ready work.

Join the team at Fath Properties! We are seeking candidates to fill two Maintenance-HVAC positions. The role will work as a Floater at our North Central Dallas properties.

Maintenance-HVAC Technician is responsible for the following:

• Ability to diagnose and repair a wide variety of basic maintenance problems at the property including plumbing, electrical and carpentry.
• Maintenance will include occupied residential units and/or performing necessary repairs in make ready residential units.
• HVAC license is required
• Purchasing and ordering supplies while maintaining a neat and orderly maintenance shop at the apartment community.

Requirements

Successful candidates must meet the following requirements:

• High School Diploma, GED, Technical or Trade School
• HVAC license & 2+ years' experience required
• Plumbing and electrical experience
• A minimum of 2 years residential maintenance experience
• Leadership skills a plus
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Physical requirements: Able to lift 75 lbs. Able to climb ladders and steps. Applicants must be able to operate power equipment such as saws, drills. Must be able to operate door locks.
