Job summary

WinnCompanies seeks a Maintenance Technician II for Mayfair Apartments, a 59‑unit Project‑Based Section 8 community in Kansas City, MO. You will perform maintenance of units, common areas, and offices, with a schedule of 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CST, Monday–Friday, on-call duty, and some weekend work.

Responsibilities include diagnosing repairs across appliances, carpentry, electrical, plumbing and HVAC, completing service requests, preparing vacant units for occupancy, and supporting preventive

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of relevant maintenance experience.
• General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliances, and HVAC.
• A valid vehicle license and clean driving record.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Basic computer/tablet familiarity.
• Willingness for on‑call duties and weekend work if needed.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair in areas such as appliances, carpentry, hardware, masonry, painting, basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
• Complete assigned service requests per company procedures.
• Ensure vacant apartments are market-ready per standards.
• Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections.
• Maintain grounds and curb appeal including snow removal and trash management.
• Be available for on‑call activities during off-hours and emergencies.
