Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances.
• Complete work orders within service-level timelines and document work.
• Perform unit turns with paint, patch, caulk, hardware, and minor carpentry.
• Execute preventative maintenance schedules and inspections.
• Support emergency response and on-call rotation.
• Maintain shop inventory, tools, and a safe work environment.
• Ensure code and safety compliance; report hazards promptly.
• Assist with pools, grounds, snow/ice as applicable.
• Communicate professionally with residents and team; set timelines.

As a Maintenance Technician, you diagnose and repair apartment systems [HVAC (as certified), plumbing, electrical, and appliances] and complete turns with clean, quality finishes. You handle work orders, preventative maintenance, parts, and clear resident communication so everyone knows what’s happening and when. You rotate on-call, follow safety standards to the letter, and partner with the office to prioritize tickets.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC (as certified), plumbing, electrical, and appliances.
• Complete work orders within service-level timelines; document parts, labor, and resolution.
• Perform unit turns including paint, patch, caulk, hardware, and minor carpentry.
• Execute preventative maintenance schedules and inspections.
• Support emergency response and on-call rotation.
• Maintain shop inventory, tools, and a safe work environment.
• Ensure code and safety compliance; report hazards immediately.
• Assist with pools, grounds, snow/ice as applicable.
• Communicate professionally with residents and team; set expectations on timelines.

Physical Requirements

• Climb ladders; lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs. regularly.
• Work indoors/outdoors in hot and cold environments.
• Use power/hand tools and PPE safely.
• Participate in after-hours on-call rotation.
