Job summary

Essential Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled Service Technician to repair and maintain apartment units and property facilities. You will diagnose electrical appliances, plumbing, carpentry, and assist with grounds maintenance, working closely with the maintenance team to deliver reliable service.

Applicants should have 1-2 years of handyman or apartment maintenance experience, own your tools, and pass a background check. We offer weekly pay and a possible temp-to-hire path.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years handyman or apartment maintenance experience.
• Experience in appliance repair, including refrigerators, dishwashers, icemakers, and microwaves.
• Proficiency in handyman tasks, carpentry, electrical, and plumbing.
• Must have your own tools and be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical appliances, outlets, and light fixtures.
• Perform plumbing, carpentry, and lock repair or replacement as needed.
• Complete Make Ready/Punch-Outs on vacant units to prepare them for new residents.
• Address residential work orders for current property residents efficiently and professionally.
• Assist in renovation projects to enhance property quality.
• Maintain the curb appeal of the community by assisting with grounds maintenance tasks.
