Express Employment Professionals - NE Sacramento is seeking a Maintenance Technician II/III to join the team in Sacramento. The role is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-4:30PM, non-exempt.

You will handle routine and emergency duties across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting, while coordinating with vendors and maintaining logs. The ideal candidate has 2-3 years relevant experience, a HS diploma, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Interact with vendors, contractors and suppliers to complete repairs.

Maintenance Technician II/III

Sacramento based organization is seeking an attentive Maintenance Technician II/III to join their team!

Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-4:30PM (30 min. lunch)

Non-exempt

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Intermediate competency with the following: plumbing (water heaters, drain clearing, fixture replacement), light electrical, appliance repair, painting and carpentry


• Familiarity with building systems including fire sprinkler, fire alarm, and central mechanical


• Complete emergency and routine work orders, and apartment make-ready tasks


• Solid understanding of general building maintenance, including work order management and scheduling unit turnover


• Repair or replace floors, ceilings, walls, siding, roofing, doors, door hardware, windows, screens, and other general building items


• Maintain property curb appeal


• Apply knowledge of use and care of hand and power tools and equipment


• Ability to take direction from a supervisor and work independently through task completion


• Interact with contractors, vendors and suppliers


• Maintain accurate records of daily mechanical rounds


• Exceptional customer service


• Basic computer skills, including ability to use smart phone and tablet


• Understanding of property management software and key management systems


• Advanced use of hand tools and basic power tool knowledge


• Effective troubleshooting and problem solving


• Experience working with vendors, contractors, and suppliers


• Attention to detail and consistently doing the job right the first time

Skills, Education and Experience:
