Job summary

PEG Company in Utah County is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor who will oversee light construction, custodial tasks, and after-hours coverage. The role involves coordinating repairs, training staff, and ensuring safety and resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities include carpentry, drywall, plumbing, electrical work, exterior upkeep, and PM scheduling; manage budgets, inventory, and vendor bids; uphold confidentiality and company policies.

Qualifications

• 5 years of apartment maintenance experience or equivalent.
• 2+ years coordinating with outside contractors, evaluating bids and managing projects.
• Certification or apprenticeship in maintenance (e.g., HVAC, pool, electrical, plumbing, carpentry). A CPO may be required at some locations.

Responsibilities

• Carpentry: Remodel and repair work.
• Minor drywall repairs: patching, texturing, painting.
• Repair plumbing: toilets, faucets, drains.
• Light electrical repairs: outlets, switches, bulbs, fixtures.
• Exterior maintenance: painting, power washing, grounds upkeep.
• Assign and review maintenance tech work.
• Train new maintenance staff; assess skills.
• Custodial duties to prep units for move-in.
• Follow safety protocols; use PPE and SDS as required.
• Implement preventive maintenance schedules.
• Estimate repair time and manage within budget.
• Maintain inventory systems for materials and supplies.
• Maintain professionalism with residents and coworkers.
• Maintain confidentiality per residents' rights.
