Rockworth Companies in Utah is seeking a dependable maintenance leader to oversee a brand-new residential apartment community. You will supervise daily maintenance tasks, support resident satisfaction, and ensure the property runs safely and efficiently.

The role requires strong technical knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general building systems, plus proven leadership and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance staff, vendors, and service schedules to support efficient property operations.
• Prioritize and assign work orders, ensuring timely completion and high-quality service.
• Oversee routine preventive maintenance for apartment units, common areas, equipment, and building systems.
• Inspect property conditions regularly and identify repairs, safety concerns, and improvement needs.
• Respond to emergency maintenance issues and coordinate appropriate resolution.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activity, supplies, inspections, and vendor work.
• Monitor inventory levels and order parts, tools, and materials as needed.
• Assist with unit turns, including make-ready work, repairs, and quality checks.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, property standards, and applicable regulations.
• Provide guidance and training to maintenance team members to support performance and development.
• Collaborate with property management to address resident concerns and operational priorities.

We are seeking a dependable and hands-on professional to lead maintenance operations for a Brand New residential apartment community. In this role, you will oversee day-to-day maintenance activities, support resident satisfaction, and help ensure the property remains safe, well maintained, and efficiently operated. The ideal candidate brings strong technical knowledge, excellent leadership skills, and a service-oriented approach to every interaction.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Experience managing work orders, vendors, and maintenance documentation

• Ability to work independently and lead a team in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills

• Experience with apartment turns and preventive maintenance programs
• Knowledge of pool, boiler, or other specialized property systems
• Certification in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or related trade areas
• Familiarity with property management software and mobile work order systems
