Qualifications include basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair, plus strong attention to detail and professional communication.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs across apartment units, common areas, and facilities.
  • Respond to resident maintenance requests in a timely, courteous, and professional manner.
  • Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliance, and general mechanical issues as assigned.
  • Complete preventative maintenance tasks to maintain safe and efficient property operations.
  • Prepare vacant units for new residents, including repairs, inspections, and turnover work.
  • Assist with maintaining building systems, tools, and equipment in proper working order.
  • Document completed work, supply needs, and recurring issues for follow-up.
  • Support safety practices and compliance with property procedures and applicable regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with property management and other team members to deliver a positive resident experience.
  • Participate in on-call rotation or emergency response duties as needed.

Job description

We are seeking a dependable and skilled professional to support the upkeep, safety, and overall appearance of a residential community. In this role, you will help ensure that homes, common areas, and building systems remain in excellent working condition through timely repairs, preventative maintenance, and responsive service to residents and team members.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs across apartment units, common areas, and community facilities.
