Essential Staffing Solutions, LLC is seeking an Apartment Service Technician to diagnose and repair appliances, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical systems in residential units. You will complete work orders, assist with make-ready tasks, and help maintain curb appeal across our communities.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of handyman or apartment maintenance experience, own tools, and is reliable, team-oriented, and able to pass a background check. This is a full-time role with weekly pay.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years handyman or apartment maintenance experience.
• Experience in appliance repair (refrigerators, dishwashers, icemakers, microwaves).
• Proficiency in handyman tasks including carpentry, electrical, and plumbing.
• Reliable, team-oriented and able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical appliances, outlets, and light fixtures.
• Perform plumbing, carpentry, and lock repair or replacement as needed.
• Complete Make Ready/Punch-Outs on vacant units to prepare them for new residents.
• Address residential work orders efficiently and professionally.
• Assist in renovation projects to enhance property quality.
• Maintain curb appeal by assisting with grounds maintenance tasks.

Job Description

As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of apartment units and property facilities. Your primary duties will include diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical appliances, plumbing, carpentry tasks, and assisting with grounds maintenance. Additionally, you will complete residential work orders for property residents, ensuring a high level of service and satisfaction. You'll work closely with our maintenance team to keep our properties in excellent condition and exceed resident expectations.

Job Duties

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical appliances, outlets, and light fixtures.
• Perform plumbing, carpentry, and lock repair or replacement as needed.
