You will diagnose and fix electrical appliances, plumbing, carpentry tasks, and assist with grounds maintenance to keep the properties in excellent condition.

The role emphasizes completing residential work orders promptly, collaborating with the maintenance team, and delivering exceptional resident service.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years handyman or apartment maintenance experience.
• Experience in appliance repair (refrigerators, dishwashers, icemakers, microwaves).
• Proficiency in carpentry, electrical, and plumbing.
• Must have your own tools.
• Able to pass a background check.
• Able to work well in a team with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical appliances, outlets, and light fixtures.
• Perform plumbing, carpentry, and lock repair or replacement.
• Complete Make Ready/Punch-Outs on vacant units to prepare them for new residents.
• Address residential work orders for current property residents efficiently and professionally.
• Assist in renovation projects to enhance property quality.
• Maintain the curb appeal of the community by assisting with grounds maintenance tasks.

Job Description

As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of apartment units and property facilities. Your primary duties will include diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical appliances, plumbing, carpentry tasks, and assisting with grounds maintenance. Additionally, you will complete residential work orders for property residents, ensuring a high level of service and satisfaction. You'll work closely with our maintenance team to keep our properties in excellent condition and exceed resident expectations.
