Job summary

Gables is seeking a Service Manager to lead maintenance operations across our communities. You will supervise the on-site team, coordinate inspections, and work closely with the General Manager to set expectations and deadlines.

You’ll implement preventative maintenance and manage budgets while using purchase order systems and vendor bidding procedures to minimize emergencies and ensure high standards of service. This role offers growth through training and certification opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in apartment maintenance.
• EPA Certification Type I and II are required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a maintenance team and conduct annual inspections to meet local regulations.
• Collaborate with the General Manager to set expectations and deadlines.
• Implement a preventative maintenance program to minimize emergencies and service repairs.
• Understand budget guidelines when purchasing supplies and scheduling vendor services using PO systems under GM supervision.
• Mentor on-site service teams to develop skills and abilities.
