Job summary

Megan Properties Management is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support property upkeep across multiple sites. The role requires hands-on experience with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and routine repairs to keep units and common areas in good condition.

You will document maintenance activities, assist with inspections, and coordinate vendor work while adhering to safety standards and the company’s budget guidelines. A valid driver’s license is preferred.

Qualifications

• General maintenance experience including appliance repair, carpentry, plumbing/electrical work, and drywall/painting.
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot maintenance issues and repairs.
• Familiarity with Fair Housing Laws and safety standards.
• Physically able to perform maintenance duties and lift heavy items.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests promptly, prioritizing health and safety.
• Document work performed on the work order form accurately.
• Identify issues and communicate with Property Manager for proactive maintenance.
• Assist in grounds upkeep and site inspections to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with Property Manager to order materials within budget.
• Monitor contractors and ensure work is completed as directed.
