Job summary

NM Residential is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at Venice Isles Luxury Apartments in Venice, Florida. The role focuses on painting, preparation of units, and general maintenance to keep the property in top condition.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years of apartment maintenance experience, with a valid driver's license. EPA Universal Certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of apartment maintenance experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• EPA Universal Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Paint apartments, common areas, and other property buildings.
• Prepare surfaces by patching drywall, sanding, caulking, and priming before painting.
• Assist with apartment turns to prepare units for new residents.
• Complete general maintenance repairs, including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and appliance repairs.
• Respond to resident work orders and maintenance requests as assigned.
• Assist with maintaining the property's exterior grounds and overall appearance.
• Conduct property walk-throughs to identify maintenance and repair needs.
• Attend staff meetings and training as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
