The ideal candidate will have experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs, be able to prepare units for new residents, handle service requests promptly, and communicate effectively with residents and property management.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance experience in residential or multifamily housing.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repair.
• Reliable transportation and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs in apartments and common areas (plumbing, electrical, carpentry).
• Repair and replace appliances, prepare vacant units for new residents.
• Process service requests promptly and professionally.
• Maintain tools and equipment; assist with groundskeeping as needed.
• Ensure safety procedures and communicate with residents and management.

We are seeking dependable and skilled Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining the overall physical condition of the apartment community to ensure safe, clean, and attractive living environments for residents. The ideal candidate will have experience in carpentry, painting, plumbing, and general repairs, and will be committed to delivering high-quality maintenance services in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks in apartments and common areas, including: Plumbing (e.g., fixing leaks, unclogging drains)
• Electrical (e.g., replacing outlets, troubleshooting lighting)
• Carpentry (e.g., door repairs, cabinetry fixes)
• Appliance repair and replacement
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents (turnovers/make-readies)
• Complete resident service requests/work orders promptly and professionally
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
• Assist with groundskeeping duties as needed (e.g., trash pickup, snow removal)
• Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and regulations
• Communicate effectively with residents, coworkers, and property management

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of maintenance experience in residential, commercial, or multifamily housing preferred
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repair
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor in various conditions
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
