• 1+ year as Maintenance Director, preferably in senior living or multifamily property management.
• Painting, drywall repair, and use of standard power tools.
• Chemical knowledge: proper usage, storage, and disposal of chemicals.
• Emergency response: move quickly and remain calm in emergencies.
• Work ethic: careful and timely completion of tasks.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily walkthroughs of the residence, grounds, and parking areas.
• Review resident work orders daily and complete tasks as assigned.
• Paint interior walls and texture drywall with precision.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment with technical know-how.
• Collaborate with the Executive Director on parts costs and bid proposals.
• Supervise work by outside contractors/vendors to ensure quality.
• Execute a comprehensive preventive maintenance plan per schedule.
• Maintain records of repairs, maintenance, warranties, and inspections.
• Maintain a professional, positive attitude within the community.
