Job summary

General Services Corporation in New York seeks a Leasing Agent to welcome residents, show apartments, and guide applicants through the rental process while coordinating with the Property Manager on events.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in sales and customer service, strong communication and organizational skills, and a willingness to learn in a collaborative team. A valid driver's license and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in sales, marketing and strong customer service.
• Leasing experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, professional and detail-oriented.
• Willingness to learn, grow professionally, and work collaboratively with a team.

Responsibilities

• Welcome potential residents via phone or in-person to the GSC community.
• Assist in their search for a new apartment home by showing apartments and providing a tour of the community.
• Coordinate the rental application and qualification process with prospective residents.
• Collaborate with the Property Manager in coordinating community and resident appreciation events.
• Assist residents with lease renewals and various requests.
• Provide excellent customer service to all residents, prospects, applicants, internal associates, and external vendors.
