Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer knowledge including MS Word, Outlook and Excel.
• Experience with leasing software such as Yardi, Blue Moon, Entrata, Onesite or MRI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospective residents, give tours, determine housing needs and close leads.
• Assist residents with leasing paperwork, including applications, lease agreements, and employment/credit checks.
• Collect security deposits, rent, and move-in charges.
• Explain lease terms and community policies to residents.
• Follow up with leads who did not lease.
• Ensure apartments are move-in ready and add last-minute touches when appropriate.
• Seek out new residents with creative marketing techniques.
• Manage lease renewals and retention efforts.
• Respond promptly to calls, emails, and inquiries.

Primary Responsibilities

• Greet prospective residents and give tours while determining housing needs, preferences, and closing leadsAssist new residents with leasing paperwork, including applications, lease agreements, and employment/credit checksCollect security deposits, rent, and any other charges associated with resident moveinsCommunicate all lease and community policies to new and current residentsFollow up with all leads and prospects that did not leaseEnsure apartments are movein ready by inspecting, and adding lastminute touches when appropriateSeek out new residents with creative marketing techniquesManage the lease renewal process and retention effortsRespond promptly to calls, emails, and inquiries

Requirements
