Job summary

Essential Staffing Solutions is seeking a dependable Apartment HVAC Maintenance Technician to repair, service, and maintain HVAC systems across apartment units. Responsibilities include handling plumbing, electrical, and appliance repairs, plus unit make-readies for new residents.

You will troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems in occupied and vacant units, perform basic electrical and plumbing tasks, and contribute to curb appeal and overall property upkeep. Background checks are required.

Qualifications

• EPA Universal Certification is required.
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in apartment maintenance or property management.
• Must have your own tools and HVAC gauges.
• Strong skills in HVAC troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance.
• Experience with plumbing, electrical, appliances, and unit make-readies.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems in occupied and vacant units
• Prepare units for new residents (make-ready/punch process)
• Complete resident work orders efficiently and professionally
• Repair major appliances such as refrigerators, stoves, and dishwashers
• Perform basic electrical and plumbing repairs
• Maintain community curb appeal and cleanliness
• Assist with renovation or property upgrade projects as needed
