Job summary

Apartner is seeking experienced apartment housekeepers to join our team in Fort Lauderdale. You will clean and prepare vacant homes for new residents and maintain cleanliness in common areas such as leasing offices, hallways, and lobbies.

You will also sanitize restrooms, fitness centers, and amenities, perform routine cleaning, restock supplies, and report maintenance issues. Strong attention to detail, reliability, and good communication in English are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic cleaning methods, products, equipment, and sanitation practices.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Professional appearance and courteous communication.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Flexible availability to work weekends and holidays as scheduled.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, reach, lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare vacant apartment homes for new residents (move-outs/make-readies).
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas: leasing offices, hallways, stairwells, elevators, lobbies, mailrooms, amenities.
• Sanitize restrooms, fitness centers, clubrooms, business centers, pools, and other areas.
• Perform routine cleaning: sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, polishing, sanitizing surfaces.
• Remove trash and recycling from property grounds and common areas.
• Report maintenance issues and safety concerns promptly.
• Follow cleaning schedules, checklists, and safety guidelines.
• Respect resident privacy and authorized access procedures.
• Assist with cleaning after events, moves, and maintenance work.
