Job summary

Makowsky Ringel Greenberg, LLC is seeking an industry-experienced Get-Ready Technician to support The Magnolias at Hernando and the Southcrest Lake Apartments in DeSoto County, MS. The technician will usually work at one site per day, with two communities offering different scheduled days.

Responsibilities include preparing vacant apartments, assisting with appliance and plumbing repairs, installing appliances and fixtures, and performing general maintenance while adhering to safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices.
• Must read, write and comprehend English.
• Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Prepares vacant apartments for rental using Get Ready standards.
• Assists maintenance personnel with general appliance repairs and plumbing repairs.
• Installs appliances and fixtures as required.
• Install, repairs, and rekeys locks.
• Moves and installs appliances.
• Participates in ongoing property improvement and preventative maintenance.
• Adheres to safety policies, including OSHA standards.
