Job summary

The Scion Group LLC is seeking a Facilities Technician to perform maintenance, preventive tasks, and property turnover prep across assigned apartments. You will use Entrata and CMMS systems, handle routine repairs, and maintain safety standards for residents and staff.

The role requires high school diploma or trade certification, EPA 608 Type I, and a CPO or plan to obtain within six months, with a willingness to travel and after-hours flexibility as needed.

Qualifications

• High school/GED or trade school diploma with 1–3 years of maintenance experience.
• EPA 608 Type I certification is required.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or plan to obtain within six months.
• Clear and effective communication is essential for coordination with residents and contractors.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and ability to work under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Respond to maintenance requests and perform preventive maintenance.
• Maintain property condition according to SOPs, OSHA, and standards.
• Perform basic repairs: carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical tasks.
• Document work performed, parts used, and follow up on materials.
• Ensure all service requests are completed daily and communicate status to supervisor.
• Collaborate with the Facilities Supervisor to prioritize tasks and safety.
