Job summary

Wilhoit Properties, Inc. is seeking a Property Manager to meet operational and financial goals for an assigned apartment community. You will supervise staff, manage leasing, marketing, budgeting, and resident relations to maintain high occupancy and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has property management and leasing experience, proficiency in MS Office, and familiarity with housing programs; experience with Yardi, OneSite, or Yieldstar is a plus.

Qualifications

• Property management and leasing experience is essential
• Supervisory experience is favored
• Familiarity with affordable housing programs is a plus
• Experience using property management software such as Yardi, OneSite, or Yieldstar
• General knowledge of repair and apartment maintenance
• Section 8 experience is a huge plus

Responsibilities

• Manage leasing office and maintain property occupancy
• Ensure deposits and rental payments are collected on time
• Supervise maintenance staff; delegate work and meet deadlines
• Develop and maintain marketing plans to maximize occupancy
• Provide friendly and informative customer service
• Resolve resident issues and ensure satisfaction in all interactions
• Inspect the property daily to meet company quality standards
• Meet with outside vendors to obtain bids for projects
