Job summary

Allied Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support property upkeep, safety, and resident experience across our communities. The role involves routine maintenance, unit turns, and assisting with larger projects to ensure visually appealing, well-maintained living spaces.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and 1 year maintenance experience, with the ability to follow instructions, solve problems, and lift up to 50 pounds. On-call availability is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certifications preferred.
• One year of maintenance-related experience or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of building systems, tools, and repair techniques.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and adapt to varying weather conditions.
• Must be available for after-hours on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance, repairs, and renovations to buildings, facilities, and equipment.
• Inspect property to identify maintenance needs and determine scope of work.
• Assist with contracted projects and ensure adherence to specifications.
• Purchase supplies and equipment as directed.
• Support with budget adherence in the department.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of common areas, grounds, and amenities.
• Assist with unit turns and preparation for new move-ins.
• Attend safety trainings and development sessions.
• Adhere to company policies and safety protocols.
