Job summary

Legacy Partners in University Place, WA is seeking an on-site Maintenance/Housekeeping technician to keep all common areas clean and to turn apartments between residents. This is a full-time role with a Thursday through Monday schedule and reports to the Business Manager.

You will clean rental offices, recreation areas, pool, spa, exercise room, restrooms, and laundry spaces; walk the grounds every morning to collect litter; assist with exterior maintenance and unit turnovers; and help maintain

• Laundry room: Maintain cleanliness in laundry rooms and wipe machines and surfaces.
• Walk the property each morning to pick up litter and keep a clean, welcoming environment.
• Clear leaves, debris, and cobwebs from entryways and stairwells of each building.
• Sweep and blow off sidewalks, parking areas, and dumpster zones; move garbage bins on scheduled days.
• Water landscaping daily as needed; assist with exterior painting and routine pool/spa upkeep.
• Clean and paint interiors to prepare units for new residents.
• Help maintain the community according to cleanliness and quality standards.

Job Summary

To be responsible for maintaining all common areas of the apartment community in a clean and attractive condition and for turning apartments between residents. This is an on-site position that reports to the Business Manager. This is a full-time position with a Thursday through Monday schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Community Area Cleaning - Clean rental office, recreation areas, pool, spa, exercise room, and restrooms. Includes trash removal, vacuuming, dusting, and window cleaning (inside and out).
• Laundry Room Care - Maintain cleanliness in laundry rooms by removing trash, sweeping, mopping, and wiping machines and surfaces.
• Grounds Patrol - Walk the property each morning to pick up litter and ensure a clean, welcoming environment.
• Entry and Stairwell Cleaning - Clear leaves, debris, and cobwebs from entryways and stairwells of each building.
• Sidewalk and Parking Lot Maintenance - Sweep and blow off sidewalks, parking areas, and dumpster zones. Move garbage bins to pickup locations on scheduled days.
• Landscape Care - Perform daily watering of landscaping as needed to keep grounds healthy.
• Exterior Maintenance - Assist with exterior painting, minor repairs, and routine pool/spa upkeep.
• Unit Turnovers - Clean and paint apartment interiors to prepare units for new residents.
• Maintain Property Standards - Help maintain the community according to LPRs cleanliness and quality standards.

Additional Compensation

Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range, including business requirements, prior experience, current skills, and geographical location.

In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in a bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, or annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.
