Job summary

Adara Communities is seeking an Apartment Assistant Maintenance Technician at Cambridge Village in Dallas, TX. You will assist with daily service requests, support unit make-readies, perform plumbing, electrical, appliance and pool repairs, and collaborate with the Lead Maintenance Technician.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of multifamily maintenance experience and a valid HVAC license, with your own basic tools.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years apartment maintenance experience in multifamily industry.
Valid HVAC license.
Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliances, pools, and general repairs.
Strong troubleshooting and time-management abilities.
A personal set of basic hand tools.
Willingness to work on-call as scheduled.
A positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team.
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required.
Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.

Important: Candidates must live within a 20‑mile radius of the property or be willing to relocate.

Working Environment

This role requires regular physical activity, including standing, walking, sitting, lifting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and reaching. Team members must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. individually and up to 100 lbs. with assistance. Most work occurs in an outdoor environment, with occasional off‑site tasks as needed. All employees must adhere to the company’s uniform policy, provided on the first day of employment.
