Job summary

Adara Communities is seeking an experienced Apartment Assistant Maintenance Technician for High Point Village in Austin. The ideal candidate will handle daily service requests, assist with unit make-readies, and perform plumbing, electrical, appliance, and pool upkeep with a team-focused approach.

Responsibilities include collaborating with the Lead Maintenance Technician and maintaining safety and cleanliness across the community, while participating in on-call rotations and delivering

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years apartment maintenance experience in multifamily industry (REQUIRED).
Valid HVAC license REQUIRED.
Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliances, pools and general repairs.
Strong troubleshooting and time-management abilities.
Willingness to work on-call as scheduled.
Personal set of basic hand tools.

What You'll Do as an Apartment Assistant Maintenance Technician:

What We're Looking For in an Apartment Assistant Maintenance Technician:

Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
Important: Candidates must live within a 20-mile radius of the property or be willing to relocate.

Working Environment for the Apartment Assistant Maintenance Technician:

This role requires regular physical activity, including standing, walking, sitting, lifting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and reaching. Team members must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. individually and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.

Most work occurs in an outdoor environment, with occasional off-site tasks as needed. All employees must adhere to the company's uniform policy, provided on the first day of employment.
