Job summary

Leidos is seeking an AH-64E Apache Longbow Crew Trainer (LCT) Simulator Instructor Operator to support ARNG ATSOS in West Jordan, UT. The role involves training Army National Guard aviators using multiple simulators and maintaining compliance with Army procedures.

The successful candidate will possess instructor qualifications or equivalent aviation I/O experience, with opportunities to schedule and document training in RF-MSS and perform check rides as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 8 years’ of applicable experience or Bachelor's Degree with 4 years’ experience.
• Qualified as an Instructor Pilot and an Instrument Flight Examiner or have three years of Aviation Simulator I/O experience.
• Experience with Army Aviation or Military equivalent is preferred; ITC/ABIC or ABIC course within 12 months of start date.

Responsibilities

• Operate the simulator to train crewmember tasks per ATM.
• Present flight records and qualifications to the Battalion/AASF/Facility Standardization Instructor Pilot for review.
• Support 4–5 two-hour periods per day per simulator device.
• Schedule simulator periods via RF-MSS; close out daily; document usage.
• Conduct training within AR 95-1 and the aircraft's ATM after check rides.
