The Airborne Solutions (AirS) Division within Leidos is seeking a LUH‑72A Lakota Instructor Pilot to support the Army National Guard ATSOS program in Marana, Arizona. You will provide in‑flight instruction on LUH‑72A, lead instructor qualification courses, and drive readiness progressions for regional and foreign training.

As prime contractor for ATSOS, Leidos delivers aviation training across platform instruction, simulation, and classroom academics.

Qualifikationen

• Instructor Pilot with IP qualification in LUH-72A or equivalent.
• 250 military IP flight hours or 2 years IP experience at a USAACE‑approved or OASS‑accredited program.
• USAACE/AATS IP qualification in the aircraft type assigned.
• FAA Commercial Pilot or Airline Transport Pilot Certificate.
• FAA Second Class Medical or Army Class 2 FDME.
• Experience as SP, IE, and/or IP in an OASS school or battalion level unit.
• Meet instructor qualification requirements per TR 350‑10 and TR 350‑70.
• Adhere to DCMA INST 8210.1D for Rated/Non‑Rated Crewmembers.

Aufgaben

• Maintain training records for formal course students and RL progression trainees.
• Deliver instruction and evaluation to student pilots per AATS‑approved Training Support Packages.
• Conduct daily academic instruction for approved POIs including various IP courses.
• Lead pre‑mission planning and after‑action reviews for flight and simulation events.
• Fulfill ATP requirements per DCMA INST 8210‑1D and AR 95‑1.
• Coordinate daily tasks such as schedules and leave to support training requirements.
• Ensure compliance with Army, National Guard, and AATS policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with the GFR to verify contractor qualifications for aviation‑training tasks.
• Report Instructor Flight and Operations data for monthly reporting.
