Job summary

Intuition Machines, Inc. seeks a hands-on SOC Manager for Bot Management & Fraud Prevention in APAC. You will report to the Director, Global SOC and own establishing and scaling security operations in the APAC region.

This leadership role blends security operations, bot management, and fraud prevention, requiring collaboration across Security, Engineering, ML, Product, Customer Success, and Support. All managers develop hands-on skills with their teams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in cybersecurity, security operations, or related field.
• 2+ years leading technical teams in SOC or incident response.
• Proven experience hiring, onboarding, mentoring staff.
• Strong understanding of incident investigation and threat analysis.
• Hands-on knowledge of web/API security, OWASP, rate limiting.
• Experience with bot management and payment fraud prevention.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop the APAC SOC team, including hiring, onboarding, mentoring, performance management, and career development.
• Lead APAC Security Operations across bot activity, automated abuse, fraud, web/API attacks, and complex incident investigations.
• Establish and continuously improve investigation methodologies, playbooks, escalation paths, quality standards, and operational KPIs.
• Ensure investigations produce clear, actionable findings and appropriate mitigation, detection, product, or customer recommendations.
• Partner with technical and customer-facing teams to improve detection, response, and prevention capabilities.
• Identify opportunities to automate investigative and operational workflows.
• Maintain effective regional coverage and contribute to consistent global SOC operating standards while keeping the team current on emerging bot, fraud, and security threats.
