Job summary

Kodland is seeking a passionate Minecraft coding instructor to help children explore block-based programming and Minecraft: Education Edition. You will deliver engaging lessons, guide basic concepts, and foster creativity through hands-on activities.

This fully remote role requires energy, patience, and strong communication with kids. Must have English at C1, be available at least 10 hours per week, and teach during 4pm–10pm weekdays or 10am–8pm weekends in Sydney/Singapore time.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering Minecraft coding lessons is preferred.
• Comfort teaching block-based coding and introductory programming concepts.
• Strong communication with children and ability to keep lessons engaging.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fun Minecraft coding lessons using provided materials.
• Explain coding fundamentals through MakeCode and block-based tools.
• Encourage participation and keep students motivated.
• Report student progress to the Kodland team.
• Represent Kodland positively and contribute to the learning experience.
• Complete a digital skills test to demonstrate coding abilities.
• Fully remote position with flexible hours.

At Kodland, you can contribute to children’s creativity, strengthen their problem-solving skills, and help them become creators in the digital world by teaching block-based coding and basic programming concepts through Minecraft: Education Edition. Responsibilities

Deliver fun and interactive Minecraft coding lessons using the provided materials.

• Help students understand the fundamentals of coding through Microsoft MakeCode.
• Encourage active participation and keep students motivated throughout the lessons.
• Collaborate with the Kodland instructor team by sharing feedback and improving lesson quality.
• Regularly report on student progress.
• Represent Kodland in a positive manner and creatively contribute to the learning experience.
• Basic knowledge of coding (experience with block-based platforms such as Scratch is a plus).
• Prior experience playing Minecraft
• An English proficiency of at least C1
• Availability to teach at least 10 hours per week.
• Willingness to work with children; patient, energetic, and enthusiastic.
• Successful completion of a digital skills test to demonstrate your coding abilities is required.
• This is a fully remote position.
• Willing to work flexible hours:
  • Weekdays: 4 pm - 10 pm ( Sdyney or Singapore time )
  • Weekends: 10 am– 8 pm (Sdyney or Singapore time )
