Job summary

Legacy Staffing is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor for a leading California food production company. You will oversee daily AP operations, manage high-volume invoice processing across farming operations, materials, packaging, freight, and services, and mentor AP staff.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of full-cycle AP experience, deep knowledge of 3-way match processes, and excellent Excel skills.

• 3-5 years of full-cycle Accounts Payable experience.
• Strong knowledge of 3-way match processes.
• Excellent Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day Accounts Payable activities, including processing high-volume invoices for farming operations, raw materials, packaging, freight, and services.
• Manage weekly check runs, perform reconciliations and review and resolve 3-way match exceptions.
• Prepare AP accruals, monthly account reconciliations, KPI reports, and support month-end close processes.
• Provide guidance, training, and mentoring to AP Specialists while acting as the primary escalation point for internal departments and vendors.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Operations, Receiving, and Treasury teams to resolve vendor discrepancies and improve workflow efficiency.
• Support audits, ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls, and identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
