Job summary

Cardinal Education is seeking a Foreign Language Coach to join our dynamic tutoring team. This part-time role offers flexible hours (3–30 hours per week) and training to develop professional coaching skills while helping families achieve language goals.

You will provide one-on-one support in foreign language subjects, assess student needs, and guide learners through AP-level coursework. Ideal candidates have tutoring/test-prep experience and a Bachelor’s degree in progress or higher.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work at least 3 hours per week.
• Proficiency in at least one foreign language at AP level.
• Experience in tutoring and/or test prep.
• Bachelor’s Degree in-progress or higher from a nationally accredited university.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one academic coaching in foreign language subjects.

IMPORTANT NOTES

Cardinal Education does not require an exclusivity contract for Part-Time Academic Coaches. This position allows for flexible hours, with Coaches requesting a standard schedule of between 3 and 30 hours per week. Cardinal Education does not guarantee the requested number of weekly hours; hours are dependent on the candidate’s performance in training and client demand.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Academic Coaching

• Become one-on-one academic mentors for students by providing the support they need in one or multiple foreign language subjects.
• Complete our comprehensive training programs that equip you to successfully:
• Identify students’ unique strengths and weaknesses.
• Build students’ curiosity and confidence in their own abilities.
• Change students’ lives by reducing stress and guiding them through academic struggles.

REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to work at least 3 hours per week.
• Proficiency in at least one foreign language subject at the level of Advanced Placement (AP)

Experience

• Experience in tutoring and/or test prep.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in-progress or higher from a nationally accredited university
