Job summary

Farther is seeking an Accounting Associate to manage accounts payable and participate in month-end close, with a focus on Ramp-based processing and expense management. The role supports process improvements and scalable financial operations.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in payables and strong Excel skills, plus experience using Ramp or similar platforms to streamline procurement-to-pay workflows. This is a full-time, on-site role in Irving, TX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 4+ years of progressive experience in payables management and month-end close.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
• Experience with Ramp or similar AP/expense management platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage the procure-to-pay process in Ramp, including new purchase requests, documenting vendor agreements, and scheduling agreement renewal notifications
• Support employee reimbursement programs and expense management
• Develop and maintain payroll analytics and reporting for key stakeholders
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Prepare bank, credit card, and account reconciliations
• Maintain organized records of financial documents and provide audit support
