Job summary

Norsk Hydro is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Expert to support a large‑scale shared services environment from its Moon Township facility. You will serve as a key AP resource, focusing on VIM and SAP S/4HANA, resolving complex issues, and driving process improvements with automation and robust controls.

The role requires strong Procure-to-Pay knowledge, advanced Excel skills, and hands-on ERP experience in a manufacturing/shared services setting.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Accounts Payable or Procure-to-Pay experience.
• Hands-on SAP experience with SAP S/4HANA AP processes.
• Experience in a shared services and manufacturing environment.
• Experience supporting ERP migrations, system enhancements, or implementations.
• Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, lookups; Power Query preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as AP SME with emphasis on VIM and SAP S/4HANA processes.
• Research and resolve complex invoice, payment, vendor-account, PO issues.
• Analyze SAP documents to identify system and data issues.
• Support migrations, go-live activities and stabilization.
• Develop test scripts and assist with UAT and defect tracking.
• Collaborate with AP Operations, Procurement, Finance, IT and plant personnel.
• Identify opportunities to standardize and automate AP processes.
• Assist with invoice automation, OCR, workflow and reports.
• Analyze AP KPIs and drive process improvements.
• Document procedures and train users on S/4HANA processes.
