True North Consultants, Inc. is seeking an experienced AP/CP board-certified pathologist for a full-time, on-site role at our Coppell, Texas laboratory. The position requires regional travel to hospital-based laboratories across Texas to provide pathology coverage.

Ideal candidates will have MD/DO credentials, AP/CP board certification, a current license, and at least three years in a community hospital setting. Travel flexibility is essential to support multiple sites.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree and AP/CP board certification required.
• Active medical license in applicable state or ability to obtain.
• Minimum three years of pathology experience in a community hospital setting preferred.
• Willingness to travel across Texas for regional coverage.

Responsibilities

• Sign-out of surgical pathology, frozen section, and cytology specimens.
• Provide pathology coverage for hospital-based laboratories across Texas.
• Perform gross examination of surgical tissues as needed.
• Consult with physicians on findings, test utilization, and diagnostics.
• Provide timely diagnostic reporting to treating and referring physicians.
• Participate in quality control, quality assurance, and infection control initiatives.
• Collaborate with leadership and staff to ensure seamless pathology services.
• Maintain compliance with CAP, CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and state/federal regulations.
