Job summary

Northwest Permanente, P.C. is a physician-led multispecialty medical group serving Oregon and SW Washington. We seek a board-certified or board-eligible Pathologist to join a collaborative pathology team across two hospitals and a regional lab.

The role offers leadership and professional development, PSLF eligibility, and a full-time 1.0 FTE position with a strong emphasis on patient care and teamwork within a large physician cohort.

Qualifications

  • AP/CP board certification or eligibility.
  • Strong diagnostic skills in general surgical pathology.
  • Cytology experience welcomed but not required.
  • Commitment to ongoing knowledge of surgical pathology and molecular techniques.
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaborative practice skills.
  • Ability to provide services across multiple clinical sites.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general surgical pathology.
  • Interpret frozen sections.
  • Participate in ROSE (rapid on-site cytology evaluation).
  • Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards.
  • Share call coverage.
  • Lead laboratory activities and administrative responsibilities.
  • Pursue CLIA directorship opportunities.

We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Pathologist to join our highly collaborative pathology team in the Pacific Northwest. This is an outstanding opportunity to work alongside 16 Pathologists, 6 Pathologists' Assistants, and 4 PhD scientists in a high-volume, subspecialty-supported practice serving a large and diverse patient population.

Position Highlights

  • General surgical pathology
  • Frozen section interpretation
  • Rapid on-site cytology evaluation (ROSE)
  • Participation in multidisciplinary tumor boards
  • Shared call coverage
  • Laboratory leadership and administrative responsibilities

Compensation & Benefits
Annual Salary Range

$362,900 - $442,500
