Job summary

Kaiser Permanente Washington Permanente Medical Group (WPMG) is seeking a part-time (0.6 FTE) Pathologist to join our Capitol Hill Medical Center team in Seattle, Washington.

The position requires a Medical Degree (MD/DO) and an unrestricted WA license with DEA; subspecialty GI/Hepatobiliary pathology is preferred, and cytopathology sign-out is required. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of practice, with recent fellows encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted Washington State Medical License and Federally Issued DEA license required or the ability to obtain.
• Subspecialty GI and hepatobiliary pathology preferred.
• Ability to sign out cytopathology cases required.

Summary

Kaiser Permanente‑Washington Permanente Medical Group is seeking a part‑time (0.6 FTE) Pathologist to join our Capitol Hill Medical Center team in Seattle, Washington.

Responsibilities

• Sign out a diverse range of surgical pathology and cytopathology cases.
• Perform intraoperative consultations, including frozen sections, and cytology rapid on‑site evaluations (ROSE).
• Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards.

• All applicants must have or be able to obtain an unrestricted Washington State Medical License and Federally Issued DEA license.
• Subspecialty expertise in gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary pathology is preferred.
• Ability to sign out cytopathology cases required.
• Approximately 3–5 years of practice experience is ideal; recently trained fellows are encouraged to apply.

Salary and Benefits

• Full Salary Range: $399,760 to $470,306 (salary will be prorated based on FTE, new hire salaries will be based on factors such as education, training and experience)
