Job summary

Kaiser Permanente Washington Permanente Medical Group is seeking a part-time Pathologist to join our Capitol Hill Medical Center team in Seattle, Washington.

The role includes signing out diverse surgical pathology and cytopathology cases, performing intraoperative consultations (frozen sections) and ROSE, and participating in multidisciplinary tumor boards. GI/ hepatobiliary subspecialty is preferred; WA license required.

Qualifications

  • MD/DO required.
  • Unrestricted Washington State Medical License or ability to obtain one.
  • GI and hepatobiliary pathology subspecialty preferred.

Summary

Kaiser Permanente-Washington Permanente Medical Group is seeking a part-time (0.75 FTE) Pathologist to join our Capitol Hill Medical Center team in Seattle, Washington.

Responsibilities
  • Sign out a diverse range of surgical pathology and cytopathology cases.
  • Perform intraoperative consultations, including frozen sections, and cytology rapid on-site evaluations (ROSE).
  • Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards.
Qualifications
  • Medical Degree MD/DO
  • All applicants must have or able to obtain an unrestricted Washington State Medical License.
  • Subspecialty expertise in gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary pathology or GI fellowship training is preferred
  • Ability to sign out cytopathology cases required.
  • Approximately 3-5 years of practice experience is ideal; recently trained fellows are encouraged to apply.
Salary and Benefits
  • Full Salary Range: $399,760 to $470,306 (salary will be prorated based on FTE, new hire salaries will be based on factors such as education, training and experience)
