Job summary

CRH Americas Building Products is seeking an Accounts Payable support professional for our Atlanta, GA hybrid office. The role focuses on assisting the AP function and may involve support for other accounting areas such as A/R, month-end, and general accounting.

The ideal candidate will have strong Excel skills, 3+ years in accounts payable, and experience with Lawson/Infor M3, ensuring accurate invoice processing, vendor communications, and timely month-end close.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in accounts payable.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal, written, in-person and by telephone.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of basic accounting math and accurate in data entry with 10-key operation experience.
• Experience using Lawson/Infor M3.

Responsibilities

• Review invoices and statements for accuracy
• Code and process incoming invoices (3-way match) according to company procedures
• Upload invoices into ERP System
• Respond to vendor inquiries, research and resolve billing disputes Maintain proper back up files for research and reference
• Research for audits, provide backup
• Ensure compliance with all standard accounting polices and SOX requirements Establish and maintain effective relationships with suppliers
• Communicate as necessary with accounting team to ensure invoices are processed timely
• Assist in the month-end closing process
• Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed

Job Summary
