Job summary

CRH Americas Building Products in Atlanta, GA, is seeking an Accounts Payable professional to support the AP function in a hybrid role. The position involves reviewing invoices, coding for payment processing, and maintaining accurate documentation while ensuring SOX compliance.

Responsibilities include month-end assistance, vendor inquiries, and research for audits, with ERP system tasks and strong Excel use. A minimum of 3 years AP experience and excellent communication are required.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in accounts payable.
• Strong Excel skills and proficiency with Office Suite.
• Experience with ERP systems (Lawson/Infor M3) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review invoices and statements for accuracy.
• Code and process incoming invoices (3-way match) according to company procedures.
• Upload invoices into ERP System.
• Respond to vendor inquiries, research and resolve billing disputes.
• Maintain proper backup files for research and reference.
• Research for audits, provide backup.
• Ensure compliance with all standard accounting policies and SOX requirements.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with suppliers.
• Communicate as necessary with accounting team to ensure invoices are processed timely.
• Assist in the month-end closing process.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for supporting the Accounts Payable function, but also may include support of other Accounting functions in areas such as A/R, month-end, and general accounting.

Job Location

This is a hybrid position out of our office in Atlanta, GA.

Job Responsibilities

Job Requirements

• High School diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• At least 3 years of experience in accounts payable
• Excellent communication skills, verbal, written, in-person and by telephone Strong organizational, problem-solving, and attention to detail
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of basic accounting math and accurate in data entry with 10-key operation experience
• Experience using Lawson/Infor M3
