Job summary

The Charter School of Wilmington is seeking a Long-Term Substitute Science Teacher to deliver AP Biology, Anatomy & Physiology, and Biology. The assignment will begin on November 6, 2026 and will continue for a minimum of four weeks, with the potential to extend up to twelve weeks.

Qualifications

• Requires 3+ years teaching experience preferred.
• Experience teaching AP Biology, Anatomy & Physiology, and Biology preferred.
• Understanding of high school science standards preferred.
• Demonstrated commitment to equity and closing student opportunity gaps.
• Strong professional growth mindset and willingness to reflect and improve.
