Job summary

CFS, based in Delano, CA, is seeking an AP/AR Supervisor to lead all accounts payable and accounts receivable activities for a respected agricultural company.

You will partner with leadership on cash flow, financial performance, and process improvements, while supervising and developing an AP/AR team and supporting month-end close and audits. Opportunities include ERP enhancements and automation initiatives throughout the San Joaquin Valley.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive AP/AR experience, including team leadership.
• Strong knowledge of cash flow management, internal controls, and accounting best practices.
• Experience with accounting software/ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Agribusiness or agricultural accounting experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
• Manage vendor payments, customer invoicing, collections, account reconciliations, and cash application processes.
• Supervise and develop AP/AR team members, including performance management and workforce planning.
• Support month-end close, audits, financial reporting, and cash flow management initiatives.
• Identify and implement process improvements, system enhancements, and automation opportunities.
