LKQ Corporation is seeking an accounting professional to support monthly close processes and journal entries within a collaborative team environment.

You will perform ledger reconciliations, prepare financial statements, and ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting policies. This role emphasizes process improvements, data integrity, and reliable reporting in a growing company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent work experience.
• 1+ years related work experience.
• Experience in a corporate accounting environment preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform general accounting activities, including preparation, maintenance, and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements.
• Prepare, record, analyze, and report accounting transactions and ensure integrity of accounting records.
• Control and reconciliation of accounts (balance sheet, P&L, bank accounts, etc.).
• Assist with recurring and month-end accounting functions.
• Establish, maintain, and coordinate accounting procedures and controls.
• Initiate and support continual process improvements.

Apply now and take the first step toward a rewarding career!Responsible for providing accounting support for the monthly closing process, and assistance with managing journal entries and other source documentation.Essential Job DutiesPerform general accounting activities, including preparation, maintenance, and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements.Prepare, record, analyze, and report accounting transactions and ensure the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles.Control and reconciliation of accounts and records (balance sheet, P&L, bank accounts, etc.).Assist with recurring and month-end accounting functions directed toward the processing of transactions.Establish, maintain, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures.Initiate and support continual process improvements.Assume other duties as assigned.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesNot responsible for supervising employees.Minimum RequirementsEducation & ExperienceBachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.1+ years related work experience.Preferred RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Accounting.Experience in a corporate accounting environment. Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and to draw and interpret graphs.Frequent use of Outlook, Word, Excel, graphics, etc. Ability to create, maintain, and incorporate functions into Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, databases, and PowerPoint presentations to support business objectives.Regularly uses moderately complex oral and written skills.
