Qualifications

• 3 years industrial air operated valve repair experience.
• Familiar with tools and machinery used in daily valve repair duties.
• Experience with repairing various valves and actuators (pneumatic, hydraulic, or electric).
• Ability to read/write reports and communicate effectively.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and solve practical problems.

Responsibilities

• Remove, inspect, refurbish and reinstall valve actuators of various sizes and types.
• Inspect and document valve condition and serviceability.
• Repair and rebuild AOV internals and determine part replacements.
• Set actuator bench and valve stroke; adjust parameters.
• Perform packing, positioner, and solenoid valve work and calibrations.
