Job summary

Pioneer Circuits, Inc. is seeking an AOI Operator for second shift in California. You will inspect PCB layers using an Automatic Optical Inspection Machine, process inner layers, and manage CAM/CDR workflows.

Training occurs on the first shift, with a 2nd shift schedule (4:00pm–12:30am) and possible overtime. Requirements include a High School Diploma, the ability to work overtime, and experience with AOI machines. The company offers a comprehensive benefits package and a U.S.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as SOPs and safety rules in English.
• Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work overtime as required.
• Proficient using a computer.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated.
• Knowledgeable or experienced with operating Automatic Optical Inspection Machines.

Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains the AOI machine and related equipment.
• Inspects PCB layers before and after processing for quality and parameters.
• Processes inner layers through the Post-Etch Punch Machine.
• Enters inspection parameters into AOI and operates CAM/CDR workflows.
• Handles new jobs by importing CAM files and transferring them through Genesis, CDR, and AOI systems.
• Measures layer thickness and verifies defects and non-conformances.
• Works with AOI to identify defects and reworks as needed.
• Performs AOI system changeovers.
