Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an AOG Mechanic to join our team at the Midway Airport location in Chicago. The role involves performing maintenance and troubleshooting on corporate and private aircrafts both in the hangar and on the road during AOG rotations.

You may also assist at other locations, working with commercial or GA aircraft as needed. The position requires strong communication skills to interact with corporate flight departments and maintenance controllers.

Qualifications

• A&P license required or equivalent FAA certification.
• Experience with AOG operations is strongly preferred.
• Strong communication skills when interacting with corporate flight departments, maintenance controllers, and customers.

Essential Skills

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of AOG experience is strongly preferred.

• Experience with corporate/private airframes is strongly preferred.

• Experience with Stephens, West Star MRT, Gulfstream Fast, Jet East, Net Jets, Flex Jet is beneficial.

• Open to candidates without corporate experience but must be professional and customer-focused.

Work Environment

Work a 7 on/7 off schedule, with guaranteed hours and opportunities for overtime. Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 7 am to 4 pm, with flexibility required. Travel within a 300-mile radius is possible, and work is conducted in non-climate-controlled hangars. Collaboration is key, as you will travel with another mechanic on AOG calls.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $110000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

n Site is positioned to grow in 2025 and are positioned to grow their AOG business.

On Site provides several business offerings (private mtnc, AOG, commercial Allegiant welcomes, and GA for flight schools)
